Promet 655 Water Repellant Rust Protector

• PROMET 655 is a long-lasting, water-repellent rust protector that does not contain barium or heavy metals and can be used to protect all iron and non-ferrous metals.
• It has a high flash point and is a new generation product that does not pollute the environment.

AREAS OF USE

• PROMET 655 forms a thin, grease-like protective layer.
• It is designed especially for immersion tanks and spray applications after manufacturing.
• It can also be applied with a brush. Water-based cutting and grinding fluids remove water from parts wetted with detergents and protect parts against rust.
• It can be used as a volatile forming fluid in some press applications where rust protection is required.
• In immersion tank applications, water quickly sinks to the bottom of the tank and can be discarded from there.
• The product separated from the water can be reused.
• The protective film can be cleaned with alkaline detergents such as the CLEANMET series.
