• PROMET 640-WS is a synthetic, water-soluble product used to protect ferrous materials in closed areas.
• It leaves a very thin, non-oily or sticky film layer on metals that can be easily cleaned with water.
• It is long-lasting and resistant to microorganism formation.

APPLICATION METHOD

• The protection level of PROMET 640-WS varies according to concentration, humidity and air temperature.
• It can be used in the final stage after spraying, dipping and various washing operations.
• Always allow time for the parts to dry thoroughly before packaging.
• Using the product by heating (max. 40 oC) shortens the drying time.
• Do not rinse the parts after PROMET 640-WS is applied.
• After immersion or spray type washing: 5 – 10%
• For rust prevention dipping bath after machining operation: up to 10%
• After drum washing or deburring operation: 5 – 10%
• To prevent “flash” rust, add 1-2% to deburring or drum washing applicationscan be added at a rate of .
• Addition to increase the rust protection effectiveness of water-based detergents: 1-3%
